I have a complete replacement option for you, but unfortunately we do not have any confirmed replacement parts for the coupler of your Wells Cargo Trailer. Instead I recommend going ahead and replacing the entire coupler with the Fulton 50-Degree A-Frame Coupler, 2-5/16" Ball, Low-Profile Latch, Primed Finish - 10,000 lbs # FE443050303. It is quite possible that the # PLR1902 hinge will be correct for your 2011 12x6 Mirage cargo trailer. These hinges are not custom fitted, so generally we like to get either measurements or pictures of the current hinge in order to recommend a replacement.

The brakes on your Wells Cargo trailer could just be in need of adjustment. On drum brakes you will adjust the brakes so that there is a slight but constant drag of the pads on the drum when you turn the wheel. I spoke with my contact at Thule and was informed that for the Sears branded Sport 20-SV cargo box you would need to use hinge # TH14936. My contact also stated that both hinges should be changed at the same time for best performance. I have linked a video review of the hinge for you.
